Danny's music is "clear and clean" He takes to the keys so precisley. His playing takes you to thoughtful thinking. I am not, by any stretch of the imagination, a music afficionado but I know what I feel---and it is uplifting. His first cd (if I remember correctly), Black & White, captivated all of us and customers too. But thinking again the first one we had was of his own compositions(Phantasy) that one got us hooked. Then came his Christmas cd's. One of my all time favorites was "Remembering Christmas (w/ the red cover). I sent this to my kids (who were in college then - taking exams) and they loved to play it while studying (the 90's). And got their friends loving it. In the 80's and 90's when gift stores played this music, it was classified as "new age" our store was the tops. We not only featured it but talked about him and the music to everyone. That's why we did so well with it. It didn't just sit on a shelf for someone to "maybe" listen to. I could go on and on with my memories. Just thinking now, I can tell you one of my favorite renditions of "On Golden Pond" was his (among many and his own melodies). Anyway, I would love to get in touch with him and sell his music again. Sadly, the music business has changed and gone are those golden days of in store selling. It doesn't have the impact anymore for various reasons but I can still do a good sell. Especially when your passionate about someone.
