Like the $145 fine I had to pay the City of Colleyville for parking too close to a fire hydrant (Painted black) in front of the photo studio when I was parked briefly to unload equipment. There went my pay! A parking ticket in NYC I received while having our last meal with our daughter & saying goodbye before she moved to Europe cost me only $75. The City of New York allowed me to tell my story by mail and then reduced the fine, but not here in Colleyville. So I am not motivated to fight City Hall nor shop in The Village...It's a form of taxation in my opinion. Well, I suppose I should think of it as a donation to the City! :)
