‘Frostival’ Benefit to Highlight December Activities

Dorothy Hynson-Williams will co-chair Frostival, along with her husband, Thomas Williams.

The Ashton Depot will be the site Dec. 10 for 2010 Frostival, a gala fundraiser for Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Hurst-Euless-Bedford.

The charity event will benefit a renovation of the hospital’s intensive care unit. The evening will include gourmet food stations, a raffle and dancing to the sounds of The Wonders, a Dallas-Fort Worth dance band.

Serving as co-chairs of the event will be the husband-and-wife team of  Thomas Williams and Dorothy Hynson-Williams. Tickets for the gala cost $150 per person, with table sponsorships beginning at $2,500.

The historic Ashton Depot opened in 1900, and for decades it served as a busy hub of railroad service. Now restored to its original Beaux Arts-style, the terminal building features stained glass windows and marble floors.

Show your Butt for GRACE!

Honestly, when was the last time you looked at your butt?   Ever thought about hanging a photo of it on your wall?   But that presents a new dilemma…who is going to take that fabulous picture of your buttocks and will it be the right shot in the right light?  Who will make sure that your best side is showing?  All those issues can be so very concerning!  Not anymore! Because your good friends at GRACE are here to help!

This Tuesday, August 11th, from 5pm to 8pm, all those sweet supporters of GRACE are hosting a causal evening (think PARTY!) of socializing and mingling and they are inviting every member from the surrounding Chambers of Commerce (Grapevine, Colleyville, Southlake, HEB, Keller and NW Metroport) to come on out.  Talk about getting to rub elbows with tons of people you haven’t met yet.  Just think of the networking opportunity this is! Food and Cocktails will be flowing (big thank you to Ashton Depot) and the music (The Stefano Elliott Band) will keep your toes a tappin.

Ok, so I know you are thinking… “Larre, how am I going to get that picture of my butt for my wall?”

Well, don’t you worry, “The Butt Sketcher” will be at this party ready to capture the very essence of your butt and put it on paper! Now that is what I call “modern” art!

Is there a cost?  Well…of course…but don’t fret. The simple cost for all this fun is just a donation of any Item that represents your business, Gift Baskets, Gift Certificates and such, that can be auctioned off at the Grace Gala scheduled for this coming October 17th, at the Gaylord Texan.

OR, if you are like me and your social schedule just doesn’t provide any extra time to put something together, you can simply bring cash and they will do all of the work for you.   LOVE IT!

Not a member of one of those chambers?  No worries! Although you really are losing out on some great meetings, events and gatherings…your decision not to be a member won’t keep you out of this gathering.  Just bring the donation and your name will be on added to the entry list.

Clearly, a fabu function like this does require an RSVP (which is why the exclusive address is not mentioned here) so do the mannerly thing and call 817.488.7009 ext 112 today.   Surely, you don’t want to be the only person off this list!! And just think how fabulous your sketched butt will look hanging on your boudoir wall!  Ladies…wear your Spanx and come join in the fun!!
