Tickets are still available for GrapeFest’s Texas Wine Tribute, a gala dinner that is part of Grapevine’s annual September celebration.

The black-tie event, which features gourmet fare paired with award-winning Texas wines, is set for 6:30 p.m. Sept. 19 at the Hilton DFW Lakes. For years a highlight of GrapeFest, the dinner usually is sold out months in advance.

With the theme Texas D’Vine, the dinner is a highlight among GrapeFest events planned Sept. 17-20. Dan Henry, weatherman on KDFW Fox 4 News, will serve as the evening’s emcee.

Every Friday Night through Sept. 4, the city of Grapevine will light up the north Texas skies after dark with a firework show.

An 11-minute firework show will take place over the beautiful Lake Grapevine. The firework festivities are part of the city’s “SummerBlast” campaign encouraging local and regional residents to see other family activities in Grapevine.

Recommended viewing locations are on Lake Grapevine at Rockledge Park, Oak Grove Park, Silver Lake Park, Lakeview Park and Murrell Park, as well as the Gaylord Texan Resort, Great Wolf Lodge, Hilton DFW Lakes or Embassy Suites Outdoor World.
