Walk the Walk With Hamburgers

Drew Myers wants to walk the walk, instead of just talking the talk.

The president and CEO of e-Partners in Giving, a new company devoted to fundraising for non-profit organizations, has called for the company’s second “Day of Giving Back.” At 8 a.m. Aug. 29, Myers and volunteers will move into action.

That day Myers will lead a team of workers in activities to support Samaritan House, Presbyterian Night Shelter and Tarrant Area Food Bank.
Beginning at 8 a.m., workers will work on maintenance projects at Samaritan House, 929 Hemphill in Fort Worth.

Then three or four hours later–depending on whether those workers work at a “walk” speed, a trot or a run–non-perisahble items for the food bank will be collected and a hamburger lunch will be served at Presbyterian Night Shelter, 1501 E. Presidio, Fort Worth.

Want to help? Contact Myers at dmyers@partnersingiving.com.
